Cash ISA

Definition: An ISA that holds cash savings. Interest is tax-free; contributions count towards the £20,000 annual ISA allowance.
Cash ISAs come in easy-access, notice and fixed-term varieties. From April 2024 you can pay into more than one Cash ISA per tax year as long as you stay within your overall ISA allowance.
