How we work

In short: Our publication method distinguishes dated source checks, content changes and professional review. The recorded scope matters more than a badge or a recent page date.
These pages are the contract we hold ourselves to — how guides are researched, how rates are dated, how labelled offers are chosen, and how factual mistakes are logged. They are not product advice.

Start with the surface you care about. Each page opens with a 40–60-word answer and says who should skip it.
- How Money Guide researches and updates guidesMoney Guide uses AI-assisted research and drafting, primary-source checks and a public corrections record. A source check is distinct from a documented professional review.
- How Money Guide checks rates and thresholdsThe rates table is a dated reference. Individual checks identify the figure, source and date; calculators and explanatory pages must also be checked for consistency.
- How Money Guide labels commercial offersOffers are selected examples, not a whole-market ranking. Third-party commission and common ownership are different commercial relationships and are disclosed.
- How Money Guide records correctionsSubstantive factual corrections and material presentation changes are recorded with a date, affected page and explanation. A correction record does not imply professional approval of the whole page.
