Definition: Wales' version of Stamp Duty, charged on Welsh property purchases. Bands and rates are set by the Welsh Government and administered by the WRA.

Higher rates apply to second homes and buy-to-let. There is no first-time buyer relief in Wales — instead the main residential bands have a higher zero-rate threshold than in England.
